In the lab, students are trained in the actual operation of equipment such as, boilers, pumps, turbines, compressors, etc. In the maintenance shop, students are trained to develop their hands on skills on electrical work, plumbing, machining, welding, etc. This training is performed by a competent instructor setting himself as a model in the operation and reasoning in solving problem if ever arises during operation based on the acquired knowledge. Students are rewarded with encouragement and praise if they are doing well and those who are not will receive constructive criticism and positive reinforcement. Depression, phobias and aggression are primary reason for dysfunctional behavior. Depression is primarily the negative results of failure when a person sets personal goals too high. When this process is continued homework over a long period of time people also increase self-judgment. Phobias are fears that are strong enough to stop a person from functioning in a healthy manor in certain circumstance. As a person continues to fail and increase their self-judgment, the depressive prone person also treats themselves in an extremely negative way. Bandura believes dysfunctional aggression is a learned behavior. In the field of Power blue Engineering, the technology Program is a combination of higher degree of Mathematics and Physics, Theoretical knowledge of Power Plant equipment and hands on practical training in Power Plant Operation, maintenance and Management. It also includes solving problem and trouble shooting skills development. In the classroom, students are taught with theoretical courses such as, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, chemistry, electricity, electronics, and so on as the foundation of the program. Online computer based training modules including flow diagram, operating procedures, computer graphics and animation help students on how to operate different kinds of equipment in the lab. Most things achieved are done through social interdependent efforts. This is accomplished by a group of people that normally would not be accomplished on the individual level. This is the third mode of human agency (Mulhollem, 2009). People have the ability to self-regulate their personal behavior especially those that possessed high level of self-efficacy. Bandura believes there are three factors to self-regulation including external and internal factors and self-regulation through moral agency.
